The Fast Facts Tourism Research Summary is a monthly snapshot of the state of the Thompson Okanagan tourism industry, particularly as it is being impacted by COVID-19, created for the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA).
The overview will show how things change as we move through the stages of recovery and timely data will assist tourism operators to make informed decisions, understand industry and consumers’ responses, and inform business decisions.
Business intelligence and insights are collected from tourism stakeholders in the Thompson Okanagan region; data from our partnership with Environics Analytics; and research through the UN World Tourism Organization, Destination Canada, Destination BC, British Columbia Regional Tourism Secretariat, BC Hotel Association, go2HR, Community DMO Partners, and others.
