Leonardo is a data analysis and economics enthusiast with a deep understanding of numerical analysis and data management. He has extensive experience handling large datasets and applying advanced analytical techniques. In his previous role at Mexico’s tax administration agency, Leonardo led studies that utilized machine learning and statistical models to analyze complex data, providing valuable insights.

He believes that effective data analysis requires an interdisciplinary approach, with many challenges in data modeling being shared across various fields and often solvable through similar methods. In 2023, Leonardo completed a postgraduate diploma at Okanagan College and joined the Symphony Tourism Services team, where he applied his expertise to drive innovation.

At Symphony, Leonardo developed a Python-based bot designed to automate the extraction of data from a key provider. This innovation has significantly reduced operational time, enabling the team to take on more projects and work more efficiently.

With his background in economics, Leonardo is now focused on a new challenge: assessing the economic value of tourism, a crucial metric for communities looking to understand and harness the benefits of this important sector.
